We are proud to have the Wimbledon Community Improvement Corporation (WCIC) as one of the many organizations in our community. The WCIC has been organized to aid in the advancement of existing businesses with loans and grants available for capital expenditures and to recruit and help in the establishment of new business and industry to our area.
The WCIC is funded through monies received from city sales tax revenue and dues paying members. In addition to the economic and business development that the WCIC assists with, the are also instrumental in implementing a number of community projects. They have funded the digital information sign on main street, developed and funded the city website, obtained flowers for each summer and coordinated events such as Holiday Happenings and Santa Claus day.
